The only thing I bought at the Lao market was a traditional Lao style skirt, which is beautiful. Away from the market, at a special shop, I found some Lao coffee (which is supposed to be fantastic).
Before the market, at the Wat, I was gifted a T-shirt and a Hmong purse from Mr. Narong, both which were very thoughtful gifts.
Later, at their home, I was also given another skirt, a traditional Nakhom Phanom style and pattern. Again, a wonderful gift and I am getting very spoiled :)
