On Saturday, after teaching a class in the morning, I left for Nakhon Phanom with Dr. Achara and Bam. We were to drop Dr. Achara off at the aiport, in order for her to make her way back to Bangkok for a week or so. Then, we made our way into Nakhon Phanom city and to the house of Arjan Narong Chonsharn and his wife, Choosin (nicknamed Ting). Mr. Chonsharn is the mananger of the school in Ban Kam Pia that I have been volunteering at, and I already spent some time with him when he came to visit the school, which he does on Wednesdays.
Their house turned out to be beautiful! They have a lovely outside seating area under the house, with a beauitful table and incredible wood benches. We he a wonderful lunch that included a noodle salad with some delicious sauce.
The Chonsharns have two adorable dogs named Toongtang and Coffee. They were my friends during my time at their house.
After our lovely lunch, we head out for some sightseeing around Nakhon Phanom.
I should say, the Chonsharns were incredible hosts, and I had a lovely time at their wonderful home.
